EOC Testing - Freshmen and Sophomores, March 28 & March 30

All Freshmen & Sophomores will be EOC Testing next week…
Tuesday, March 28: Freshmen – Testing in English I, Sophomores & Juniors – Retesting,
Thursday, March 30: Sophomores – Testing in English II, Juniors – Retesting

*Room assignments can be found in your English class, stop by the Front Office if you have any


*If you are a RETESTER and you see DO NOT see your name, see the counselors.

*If you have passed ENGLISH I OR II, but your name appears on the list, see the counselors.

*Please make every effort to be in attendance and report to your assigned room by 8:00 on the assigned day. Students, you are also reminded that backpacks, purses, cell phones, smart watches, and all other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing room and should be left in your locker, in your car or at home.

Parents, the following dates are for upcoming scheduling purposes. Please mark your calendar.

In order to make your child’s high school career as successful as possible, we would like to pass along some helpful information regarding registration for high school. We have several important dates that will begin that process:

*Tuesday, January 24, 2017- Students will be given a Registration Worksheet Form during history class. Please take some time to look over the Registration Worksheet Form with your child.

*Monday, February 6, 2017- Leps Forum @ 4:30-5:30 pm in the LHS cafeteria. Leps Forum is an opportunity for parents/guardians and students to interact with High School teachers regarding their classes.

*Monday, February 6, 2017- Parent Meeting @ 6:00 pm in the LHS gym. An informational meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the gym. This meeting is geared for all 8th grade students and their parents/guardians; however, all parents/guardians of high school students are welcome to attend. This meeting will cover graduation plans, courses, AP courses and endorsements. Counselors, Department heads, and Administration will be available to answer any questions about registration.

*Tuesday-Friday, February 7-10, 2017- Course Selection Sheets are due. Counselors and Administrators will pick up your son/daughter’s registration sheet through his/her history class.

Attention Senior Parents

Parent congratulatory ads in the 2017 Leopard Spots yearbook can now be purchased for your graduating senior. These ads recognize your graduating student and his/her accomplishments. They are a fun way for parents and other relatives to express their love and congratulations to these talented seniors. Purchasing and producing an ad is easy. Your senior kiddo will receive a form on Thursday August 25th. You may also download the letter and form on the link below. The due date is September 16th. Thank you! - The Leopard Spots Staff
